Mi trabajo se enfoca en la genética y genética molecular de las plantas. Un área de mi investigación apunta en desarrollar e integrar recursos genéticos y genómicos en los frutales nativos Acca sellowiana (guayabo del país) y Psidium cattleyanum (arazá). También colaboro con investigación en desarrollo de resistencia genética a enfermedades en cultivos.
